Day 11-Thrifty Christmas Tips
- Each year we budget a specific amount of money for the Christmas season
- I then make a spread sheet and set amounts for each individual person we need to buy for
- Aside from gifts our budget includes the cost of the tree, ornaments (got a new set this year), decorations, wreath, Christmas photos and cards, our ONE big family outing, wrapping, & some other odds and ends
- Stick to the budget- NO if, and, or buts about it
- I like to try to make at least one homemade gift for Friends and Family
- Last year was decorated jars filled with cowgirl cookie mix
- Shop early and two weeks before Christmas
- There are lots of great sales going on right now
- Amazon
- Walmart and Target
- Groupon- every day is a new deal
- Totsy & Zulily (for the kids)
