The kids first time at the beach. PRICELESS.

Saturday we packed the littles into the car (after having Daddy's oatmeal waffles) & headed off for our 2 1/2 hour trek to Stinson Beach. Both of them have never been & I was super excited to see how they would react.
On our way to the beach
The last half hour of the trip is on a windy mountain rode. Out of no where I hear Reagan start to cry & she says her tummy hurts. There wasn't a turn out nearby. She threw up in the car. We stopped at the first available turn out. I changed her clothes & let her breathe some free air. She did fine the rest of the way there.

We got a parking spot right at the entrance to the shore. The sand felt amazing on my feet. We dragged our stroller, chairs, beach towels, toys, lunch, & bathing cuties to a nice little spot on the sand. Reagan was beyond happy! She loved running through the shallow waves. She would run out to them then let them chase her to shore. Jax on the other hand was happy eating sand. AND.LOTS.OF.IT. oh yeah, & the many sticks that he found lying around.
When we first got there she fell in, but it was all great from there
Oh my goodness, I LOVE how these came out!

He is such a good Daddy. Reagan adores him.

Lots of stick eating...
 MY.WHOLE.WORLD.

Swim lessons & lots of pool time have paid off. She had a blast in the water.

Fun in the sand.

THESE.CRACK.ME.UP. Head to Toe Sand.

Right past the bathrooms & the showers there is a little snack shack/grill. Reagan & I made our way over & got her a sweet treat (HUGE bright popsicle) & an apple juice.

Me & my most favorite little munchkins in the whole.entire.world.

It was the PERFECT mini day-cation.

Hey Ashlie! I sent you an email to that facebook email address listed on your sidebar. I deleted the comment because it stated the city I was in and I didn't really want that out there, just to preserve some privacy for my daughter. I tried to reply to your comment but you don't have that function available on your profile. Thanks for stopping by though, I am always up for playdates and meeting other moms, feel free to email me at howsweetblog@gmail.com :)

PS- please don't think I don't want you to stop by and comment, it was strictly to protect a little privacy- I hope you understand.
